welcome 2008! woa..another yr is gone ! and that means i am 1 YEAR older......sighs...shakes head...haiz....
lol.
in the last few days of 2007, i managed to do some reflections and also think abt plans for 2008.
and i concluded that i had so much and many to thank God for!!! Though 2007 had been a yr of major changes in my life, career and family, God has seen me through. Without God, i would not have survived them all. And i also remember how God has blessed me in 2007;
his providence financially
giving me the gift of tongues,
gave me opportunities to go for my 1st mission trip and to be an intern in church,
making new friends in church like Jianxiong, Daniel, Meiyin, Jeanette, Rongxiang, the whole SP cell, most of RP cell, and many more....if i have to name, i will take another like half an hour to list...ha...so i shall stop here. ya..really made many new friends this yr.
strengthened my friendships and relationships with family
giving me close companions and soulmates like Hannah and Xun Yu
continuing close sister like friendships with my dear charlie angels
working with dependable and capable fellow interns Jeanie and Andrea!
growing closer and getting to know better my youth and young adults pastors--they have inspired me, equipped and sharpened me in ministry + they are all endearing people. how blessed i am. (",)
chances to work with the youths-->to be a youth worker in church-->my aspiration fulfilled! =)
lastly, thank God for every single day of 2007-- now my memories.
and i am thankful now that i am reminded of these things.
realised hor, thankfulness comes with remembrance, diminish with forgetfulness.
and how forgetful us humans can be.
so even as u start this brand new year, may u also take some time to remember the Lord's goodness and kindness last year and be thankful.
