even as i prepare for this mission trip, i see that things get more difficult and complicated for me. i'm always behind time on my part for the prep...very nervewrecking!.. and each time after the meeting, i would feel so worn out and yet know there is much more work i have NOT completed. yes i got weary of the prep cos there is so much work to prepare! there is also much uncertainty. at some point in time, i did want to give up! i questioned if all the time and effort i put in would be worthwhile. i do not see and cannot anticipate what is in for me in this trip and i feel apprehensive and fearful...i feel stressed..i dunno if i can adapt well.. yet each time as the group gathered to worship and pray for this trip, i am reminded of God's providence and leading. That we will not be traveling alone. We'll be traveling with God! That we will not be doing all the work. God is! That as we prepare, God has paved the way ahead! i guess this time, i really have to go by faith and not by sight.
