Is the fear of rejection by people stopping u from realising ur fullest potential in Christ?
if that is the case, u should pray against that. Do not let the fear of rejection rule what u do. Let Christ take over. Let God be ur motivation for everything u do. Do not let ur own fears stop u from doing what God wants u to do, or to become the woman God wants u to be. Be bold and courageous, for His name's sake!
i read in a book that the chief goal of every Christian should be to glorify God. Do not let setbacks or even ur own feelings determine what u do for God. Do not let urself limit what God can do thru u. God deserves to be glorified, and we as Christians ought to glorify Him.
i believe God placed u in this ministry so that u can bring glory to Him. He wants u to bring glory to Him. Therefore, since God has enabled u, be bold and courageous!
Be proactive. take the first step. take the initiative to talk to others. open urself to others so that others will open up to u too. do not be afraid of rejection, just need to remember that God promised to deliver the righteous, He will be ur protector and advocate. When u don't know what to say, He will be ur mouth, just as He gave Moses the words to say. When u need the courage to do what u have not done before, look to our Lord Jesus! In the face of rejection, He stood firm, prayed to the Father, continued to do good, preached the kingdom of God boldly and loved the unbelievers, died for the unbelievers. Did Jesus give up even when he was rejected so many times?
Let us learn from our Lord Jesus...to perservere even in times of persecution, for He chooses to use us, humans, to witness and testify for Him. If we do not do it, who will?
Everyone needs Jesus.
Through ur difficult times, u have seen how God has healed and provided. U have seen his goodness and fathfulness. Continue to trust him for more. Continue to trust him for harvest. Continue to let him work in u. Continue to perservere so as to glorify Him.
Perhaps it is time to challenge ourselves. To die to ourselves, so that Christ can live in us. That God be glorified.Yes, we may be stretched, we may dislike what God has called us to do, yes it may not be in our character to do certain things for God. But if one more person can know Jesus because we choose to disregard ourselves, i would say, it is worth it!!!
When one sinner is saved, the heavens rejoices.
u could be doing something u dont like.
u may have to do something u have not done before.
u may dislike the people u are working with.
u may have to learn to disregard ur own feelings.
u may have to assume a role which u do not like.
but if it is going to make a difference for eternity, i would say it is worth it.
"But whatever was to my profit i now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, i consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake i have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that i may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith." -Phil 3:7-9
the self can be our greatest enemy.
do we care more about ourselves or do we care more about God?
are we ourselves or God the priority?
Pleasing God is never about ourselves.
