Just reached home not long ago. was out with cell group chilling at Holland V. Nice chilling out, should have more times like this. we went to this place called Essential Brews...which sells all kinds of tea. and the coolest thing about the place upstairs is that we get to sit on the floor with cushions and stuff. so it was really cosy and relaxing. a real nice place to chill and be laidback. I guess YA cells are exciting...it's very different from a youth cell. It seems as if we had more freedom, less curfews, to stay out late, to go chill at night and what we do is like totally different! We have more suppers, more debates, less structured cell sessions, and more group leadership than sole leadership of the cell leader. Yup, but overall, it has been an enriching experience.
Like cell today we talked about what it really means to be a Christian. What if we are wrong? How do we know our faith is the true faith? How can we be sure? Questions like these are regular customers in our cell sessions. Sounds theological? ha. But the questions really makes us think on a deeper level. Rather than just believe cos our parents believe or that's what the bible says, or cos that's what we are told to believe. I believe we should not just follow blindly. Or have blind faith. we need to know who and what we are believing in. We need to back that up with evidence, experience and truth. And it boils down to knowing God and His word.
