Do you know what our Lord Jesus Christ was doing in the picture?
this was before He left for Jerusalem to be crucified.
Knowing his fate, he kneeled down and prayed to God, his father. Whenever i read this part in the bible, i cant help but be moved by the Lord's great love for us. He could choose not to suffer, and not walk the way to crucifixation. He could choose not to die. But he chose to.
For?
A world where few acknowledged him. A world full of sinners.
and God's love is greatly exemplified by the words he said as he was hung on the cross:
"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do."
