There are times in life when
I cry
I laugh
I struggle
I stumble
I fell
I failed
i delight
i rejoice
i sing
i understand
I don't understand
the times in life are so unpredictable
like a swinging pendulum
sometimes left, sometimes right
sometimes high, sometimes low
however when God's there in between
he acts as the balance
between the sad and the glad
the bitter and the sweet
the extreme up and the extreme down
He turns darkness into light
He brings justice to where there's injustice
He lifts the poor and despises the proud
He frees us from the bondages of the sin
He helps us against the devil's lies
He loves me and you
the world may get me down but i know my Lord will lift me up!
